After the annoucement made by Fuji that they would discontinue the pro 800z film in September, it turns out that they will keep it in production after all.

A “non-visible light emitting flashgun” developed by a student at N.Y University has been unveiled today on The Photography Blog. It’s obviously in the early stage of its development, but sounds already promising.

Very cool photo collection on The Big Picture celebrating the upcoming 40th anniversary of first human travel to the moon, with NASA mission Apollo XI.

As a note, astronauts used Hasselblad 500 ELs cameras specially prepared, with custom-made film backs holding a special 70 mm Kodak film. 160 colour or 200 black/white images could be shot without having to change films.

Adobe recently launched online a new blog named Phosphors, dedicated to Photoshop and Lightroom, and where users can find lots of very useful information such as help on specific topics, tutorials, tons of useful links and even contribute to improving Adobe’s products by participating in tests, workflow observations and interviews.

They have recently published, among other things, a help topic on backing up catalogs and sharing files online with Lightroom 2.0.
